  1. Sara,
Great list. I enjoyed books #1, 2, 3, 8, and 10 to varying degrees though I think a better title for 'The Historian' would be 'The Bore-ian.'
    Rock on,
    Jesse

  2. I read the Historian IMMEDIATELY after reading the Twilight series, and although I liked the Twilight series, this was a welcome change in character development and writing style in general.

  3. I definitely have some reading to do! I can say that I loved your #1 and #8 (it should only take me about a decade to get through the rest of your list). I also really enjoyed The Magicians and The Interpretation of Murder.

  4. I searched for this post just to say that Jesse gave me The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society and I read it in an afternoon (unheard of for me). I loved it! I can't believe that a book made up of letters could be so captivating. I had laugh-out-loud moments and even tears in the first hundred pages!
